Conventional and Alternative Veterinary Care for Dogs and Cats (Hainesport Only)

 

Dr's Cobb and Weintrub strive to utilize the particular modalities that offer the best results for a given condition with the least toxicity.  Both veterinarians have a strong interest in acupuncture and sports medicine.  The office is open for appointments from 3-6 on Tuesdays, 10:30-6 on Wednesdays, 4-6 on Thursdays, 11:30-5 on Fridays and 2-4 on Saturdays.  We offer the following conventional and alternative services:

Routine office visits for well care are $45 and are scheduled on 15 minute rather than the usual 7-10 minute intervals.  Regular office appointments include one-on-one time with the veterinarian, a medical records chart and an exam.  Fees for some common well-care services are as follows:

*Microchip with lifetime registration $45

 Pre-operative lab work (checks liver and kidney function) $45

 Pre-operative bleeding disorders screening test $20

*Heartworm test $20

*FeLV & FIV test $25

*Dog tapeworm treatment $20

*Cat tapeworm treatment $10

+Frontline Plus for fleas 3 month supply $45

+Heartworm preventative by weight as follows:

1-25 lb $20

26-50 lb $25

51-100 lb $30

101-125 lb $50

Sick Care:  Sick care visits are scheduled on 30 minute intervals and are charged at $90 per visit.  The added time gives the doctors the opportunity to cover all care options thoroughly with the clients.

 

Acupuncture:  Dry needle acupuncture is $56 per session.  The first acupuncture visit requires a consultation at $45-100 depending on the length of the visit.
